A little temple gate
The double doors are open in the massive tile-roofed gate of a temple, through which we glimpse the carefully tended garden and two women in kimono; the traditional plaster walls show their age, while red, black, and white paper lanterns lend a lively note.
Oban tate-e, image size 9 5/8" by 14 3/4" (partial view shown), titled and signed in pencil with black jizuri seal, dated Showa 10, 1935.  Good bright print in good condition with full margins.
