Sakiori obi fragment in various colors and textures
Possibly originally a long obi, but also possibly converted at some point to a cover, for bed or kotatsu table, because of the measurements.   A great variety of cloth has been used, mostly silks, in a wide palette of colors which play off each other in a pleasing way.
The panel is about 12" wide and 88" long.   Two sections are damaged:  an 8" blackish section which seems to have decomposed because of the inherent acidity of the material, and a dark 4" end section which has large weak places.  The rest is relatively strong.
