Arita (Imari) plates in Kakiemon style
A set of five porcelain plates in Kakiemon style with underglaze blue and overglaze color decoration of fish in underwater landscape, including a sunken wagon wheel:  wooden wheels were soaked in rivers or streams to swell the wood and make them stay firmly together.
